Tykes and honorary tykes
We are a group of Yorkshiremen (Tykes) and honorary tykes. We started our annual trips away in 2009 after a chance meeting with school friends
Day 5
Kevin not feeling well this morning - hope it wasn't something he'd eaten. The rest of us drove inland to Rouen after breakfast. Rouen is a very interesting place, similar to York or Canterbury. Peter F and myself visited the spa next to the hotel and made use of the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi - felt rejuvinated.
We returned to La Comptoir du Malt brasserie, where we ate on day 3. We weren't as impressed this time around. Finished with beers in the hotel.
Day 6
Kevin still not recovered. The rest of us had breakfast and then set off along the coast to Veules-de Roses. The next stop was Saint-Valery-en-Caux where we had drinks in a cafe.
This evening we dined in the hotel restaurant. It was probably the classiest food that we had had all week - very nice.
