The 2016 tour by a bunch of Tykes who venture to Northern Ireland.
After another good breakfast and packing suitcases we set off for Belfast on the first part of our return home. We drove to the City airport where we left the vehicle in the car park we picked it up from and caught the bus into the city centre. I checked-in at the Ramada Encore hotel, my base for the night. We then had a non-alcoholic beverage purchased from the Bridge Inn, a Wetherspoon pub, followed by a walk around the city centre. Returning to the same pub we had an early evening meal with a couple of beers.
I left the other four at the bus stop for a bus back to the city airport, where they picked up their cases from the vehicle before getting a taxi to the ferry terminal. I returned to the hotel. At 10:30pm during my second Guinness I thought about the others on the ferry bound for Liverpool, sharing a cabin with 4 bunk beds while I had a comfortable double bed to myself.
By the time that I had had my breakfast, Graham, Ken, Kevin and Peter would have already disembarked at Liverpool and be on a train home. My flight back to London wasn't until 15:25 so I had a bit of time to kill.
