The 2017 tour by a bunch of Tykes who venture to Malta.
Today was a day at leisure in Valletta. Eddie and myself went to the St.John's Co-Cathedral which was extremely impressive. The others went to the Malta at War museum. We met up at about 1pm and split up to do a bit of shopping. The weather was very kind to us again - mainly sunny and warm.
After another excellent dinner in the hotel we tried another bar - The Stable, but were not impressed so went to The Pub where Ken and Kevin stayed. The rest of us returned to the hotel for the remainder of the evening.
Transport to the airport was arranged for 10am.
We have had an excellent week in Malta. We haven't seen everything, but we had a good try. The weather has been very good, lots of sun, warm and just the occasional shower. We would all recommend the Osborne Hotel as a place to stay, the staff are warm and helpful and the food is fantastic.
