There could, no doubt, be lots of facts about the Shetland Islands that could be entered here. I think the sensible thing to do here is make a link to the Shetland Islands Wikipedia page . I feel sure that any information that you may require can be found here.

The only serious omission that I can find is that the article does not mention pubs. There are some great pubs in Lerwick, and as this website develops I shall, no doubt, make reference to some of them. If last year is any indication, there should be lots of entertainment to be had during Up Helly Aa week.
